KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Truman senior Jennifer Zweifel was selected as the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association women's field student-athlete of the week by the conference office.

Zweifel (Maryville, Mo., Maryville) finished second in both the triple jump and long jump at last weekend's University of Iowa New Year's Classic in Iowa City.

Zweifel improved her national provisional mark in the triple jump to 38-10.50 which is tied for fifth in Division II and first among MIAA women's triple jumpers. She is also 10th in Division II in the long jump with a provisional mark of 18-05.75.

It is Zweifel's second straight MIAA weekly award.
