KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Junior Becka McHenry and senior Breanna Daniels were voted to the 2012 All-MIAA team by conference coaches on Monday. McHenry was a second-team choice while Daniels was named to the honorable mention team.

McHenry leads Truman in scoring at 14 points per game and her 137 assists are tied for fifth all-time in Truman single-season history. She was ranked in nine statistical categories within the conference including the MIAA leader in assists per game at 5.2. She recorded the first triple-double in the league since 2006 and first for the Bulldogs since 1998 when she tallied 14 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds in a game against Pittsburg State on January 25th. She scored in double-figures 18 times during the regular season and scored over 20 points six times. She scored her season-high of 24 points on three occasions against Lincoln, Southwest Baptist and Fort Hays State. This is her first all-conference honor.

Daniels becomes the ninth women's basketball player to earn all-conference accolades three times in her career with the honorable mention selection. She averaged 10.7 points per game, led the team in rebounding at 6.3 a night while also earning Academic All-District First-Team honors. She has scored 1,211 points in her career, good for eighth all-time in Bulldog history. She was an honorable mention selection in 2009-10 and a third-team pick last season.

The Bulldogs will face Emporia State as the sixth seed on Thursday night in the first round of the MIAA Postseason Tournament in Kansas City at 8:15 p.m. Truman is 17-9 this season, the most regular season wins, most conference wins (11) and highest regular season finish since the 1999-00 season.
