Greyhounds Take Down Bulldogs In First Round Of GLVC Tournament

ST. LOUIS, Mo.  – The Bulldog Men's Tennis team bowed out in the first round of the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament on Friday as they fell 5-1 to East Division leader Indianapolis. Kirk Schlueter and Joe Murphy-Baum had the lone win for the Bulldogs.
 
Schlueter and Murphy-Baum defeated the Greyhounds number two pair of Fausto Cordova and Marco Torress by an 8-6 tally.
 
However UINDY claimed the other two doubles matches by 8-4 and 8-1 scores and three of the singles matches to get the necessary team points to advance in the tournament. The three other matches were left unfinished on the courts with the Greyhounds ahead in two and Truman's Jake Ohlhausen up a set in number one singles.
