Biography

Club Team: Columbia Rattlers

2012: Hit .305 in 49 games with 10 doubles and 14 RBI to earn all-MIAA Honorable Mention honors … spent the majority of the season as the club’s leadoff hitter, scoring 32 runs and stealing 10 bases … had 13 multi-hit games, including a 4-for-5 game at East Central on March 6 … hit .500 during a seven-game stretch from April 7-17, including a season-best three RBI game against Lindenwood on April 10 … stole two bases on March 7 at Newman and had just two errors in 83 total defensive chances … named an MIAA Scholar-Athlete for the second straight season and was also selected to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll for the third time.

2011: Acknowledged for her academic achievements by being rewarded the MIAA Scholar-Athlete award and was also selected to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll….selected to the all-MIAA Honorable Mention squad for the second straight year…appeared in all 48 games while starting 46 of them….completed her season with a .327 batting average….led the Bulldogs and finished third in the MIAA with 16 doubles…drove in 23 runners and reached home a team high 29 times…had 12 games with multiple hits and a .526 slugging percentage…stole a team high 14 bases and posted a .968 fielding percentage….went 3-for-4 with three runs and three RBI against Rockhurst University (February 27th).

2010: Earning all-MIAA honorable mention as a true freshman, she started in 47 games in the outfield for the Bulldogs…posted a .314 batting average which included 21 RBI’s and 44 hits and three home runs…scored three runs vs. Fort Hays State (Apr. 2)…second on the team in multi-hit games with 10 and had a 10 game hitting streak during the season…comes into the 2011 season with an eight game hitting streak.

High School: Was named the Defensive Player of the Year and was a first-team all-district performer and second team all-region player at Columbia Hickman High School … her team in 2008, which went 25-3, won the District and Sectional championship … earned an All-State Academic Award … was a four-year starter and letterwinner.

Personal: Birthday is July 15 … is the daughter of Daniel and Sara Miller … is majoring in Communication.
