Truman:

2011: Was a medical redshirt but did earn MIAA Academic Honor Roll accolades.

2010: Was an honorable mention Don Hanson Divsion II Football All-American ... Named all-MIAA first-team as a defensive back in starting in all 11 games… led the team with 50 solo tackles to add to his total of 41 assisted tackles … had 74 tackles in conference games ranking fourth in the conference … tied for first in the league in fumbles forced with three … posted a big game against MSSU on Oct. 16 with eight tackles (1 TFL), forced two fumbles and had two interceptions, including one for a TD … recorded double-digit tackles three different times, including a season-high 14 against UNO on Nov. 13 … snared three INTs on the season and had four pass breakups … returned four kickoffs for 68 total yards with a long of 33 … member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

2009:  An all-MIAA honorable mention selection after seeing action in all 11 games and starting eight on the season at defensive back…had three interceptions, including a 36-yard return against Washburn…finished second on the team with 101 tackles...posted 16 tackles against Missouri Western and 15 against Emporia State…also forced a fumble in the game against ESU.

2008: Played in 10 of the games as a special teams player and back up safety as a true freshman… recorded 10 tackles on the season with five solos… also had one pass break against Missouri Southern and a fumble recovery against Fort Hays State...was named special teams MVP following the Northwest Missouri and Emporia State games...named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Started at cornerback and free safety as team went to back-to-back state quarterfinal games…named team captain and member of the all-Cypress Sun football team as a senior…received all-district honors in junior and senior seasons…team won district championships during Elliott’s sophomore and junior years…had 122 tackles, ten pass breakups, five forced fumbles (two recovered), two interceptions and one touchdown as a senior…averaged more than 20 yards per kick return…also played basketball and started as a guard for four seasons.
