Donald E. Sparks, a meritorious inductee, was a linebacker on a three-time Bulldog conference championship football team. He lettered four times. Sparks graduated with a masters degree in 1959. He became the first associate director of the Missouri State High School Activities Association. Sparks is the director of the National Federation of State High School Associations. He is also a member of the Greater St. Louis Athletic Association Hall of Fame.
